Cheers for Reporterclock! Hooray for Clock DAY!!

Wow, best animation for Clock Day yet! Not really a fan of clock movies myself, but this was just a perfect Clock Version spoof of the 'Ultimate Showdown' I couldn't resist giving it a 5/5!! Great job!! Btw, Clock Day in Newgrounds falls on the exact day my country (India) got Her Independance (August 15th, 1947) A tragic coincidence :-(

Oh well, Happy 59th Independance Day fellow Indian comrades, and Happy Clock Day to the rest of... er Newgrounds folks?

Btw the 3-D turning of the room in the beginning was soooo cool!!

ReporterClock responds:

Thanks! That was hard work. Happy independance day!

Couldn't have picked a better song!!

Wow, you couldn't have picked a better song for this animation!! The graphics were easy on the eyes, and I REALLY loved the way you showed the sun rise and set, with the stars coming out. The launch of the rocket (or missile) was breathtaking, and smooth. This whole flash puts you in a sense of peace and makes you look at the whole world as one giant happy place.

Furthermore since there is no story, or plot to follow, it makes it all the more relaxing.

Btw, thanks for displaying the lyrics so I could sing along lol :-)

I adore your simplicity!

This has some standard humorous elements in it, like when the news broadcaster searches for Jenny and tries to replace her with a hand puppet, the cops stopping for donuts at Starbucks during a highspeed car chase etc.

Pretty stereotypical kiddy stuff, but still it's kinda amusing to go back and live the days when being funny was so simple and innoscent. Overall, I think you did a great job, especially since you did all the voices, including Jenny, yourself lol

Btw, where IS Jenny anyway??! :(

teh-octan responds:

I like to think she quit because she was sick of how unprofessional the rest of the news team was. Actually I should revise this and work that in somehow...

Very interesting lol!!

Great humorous idea with decent animation. In my opinion the graphics would've been much better if you'd colored it, but I guess this is a totally different style anyway. If this really is your first flash movie you have a bright future ahead of you.

Nice but too short :-(

The animation and sound were perfect. The only thing it lacked was a good story line to follow. Also I thought it was a tad too short and ends rather abruptly. All in all the effects were decent. I liked how you used the blur effect. You've really got to teach me that sometime lol :-)

Looking forward to a continuation of this if you have one in mind.

Cute

Lol that was sweet! Animation was a bit lazy but you managed to cover that up well with your own style so it doesn't really matter. The characters were drawn quite nicely, despite lacking originality (especially with the guy). Overall this movie was good, and if you'd added voices it may have gotten a better score. Anywayz I really enjoyed it and thought the length and timing were amazing. Good job!

Hilarious!

I dunno why but this movie made me laugh like crazy!

NICE!!

That was pretty cool. It's nice to see some classic frame by frame animation round these parts. Hope to see more from you :)

If Spielberg made a sprite movie...

Um... wow! I first saw your Mario Movie part-I back in 2005, and since then I have been a great fan of this series. When I first saw your movie I knew nothing about Flash (maybe I still don't know much lol) but somehow it inspired me to learn more and more about it. Every time I felt I was getting nowhere with the software, I would play one of your movies and be inspired from it, and try again. I not only love these movies because they have extremely well animated sprites, good story line, etc. but also for your distinct style in cinematography, the way you bring out the intense drama from simple 8-bit sprites, the correct choice of music for the precise situation, the perfect camera movements, and so on. These are all truly the trademarks of a great upcoming movie director, and with these sprites you have practiced and mastered your skills over the years to such an extent you could present this at a film festival and actually WIN! (not kidding)

This is a movie that I believe even Miyamoto (creator of Mario) would be moved to tears with!!

My only regret to this final part is that this amazing series must now come to an end :(

Thank you for bringing class to sprite movies and for inspiring me to make my own sprite movie 'Back to the Start Mario' :)

Now that you are through with sprites, I hope you will maintain this quality and make a feature film some day, just as moving and transcendent. But whatever you do in life from now on, your fans (and newer fans to come) here will make sure this movie lasts forever!

This isn't a goodbye, but moreover, a NEW beginning....

Funniest Football World Cup movie YET!

That was funny dude, and soooo true to each team! The talented Brazilians, the Marching Germans, the brutal hooligan English... and then especially with the Jamaica team where you put the question mark and the guy kicks the ball and falls over lol!!! Good animation, graphics ok, but could've used more countries in my opinion :(

Hope to see a sequel!!

mackain responds:

thanks a lott dude! =D
yeah i know I should have added some teams but its har working out steriotypes:P
