People forget that the real God, be it Jesus, Allah, Krishna, etc. wants His name to symbolize peace and harmony in THIS world and above all His name should bring LOVE to all.... GOD means LOVE

I am a Christian by birth, but I focus more on the simple Christian love and compassion that Jesus showed on people no matter what or who they believed in.

If you read the old testament, the Christianic God was actually a pretty bloodthirsty asshole, turning people into salt and demanding human sacrifices left right and centre. Christians cherry pick what parts of the bible to follow and which they should not in this day and age, but if the Bible is the word of God and the word of God is infallible, then that makes Christians big time hypocrites.

I'm sure you didn't want to open up a debate here, but imo, the world would be better off with religion, it makes good people do bad things.

Im a christian. Im not gonna yell at anyone about it though. Pretty much every religion has messed up in the same way. Lots of blood, war, killing and sacrifice. Okay, every major religion, not just most. Don't blame the religion itself, blame the assholes who turned them around and made "holy war". Crusades, terrorism, whatever.
